Previously, the information gathered for an expedite case was insufficient for Allegion to process the request. We've added some questions so that Allegion will have all the info to process the request. This will improve efficiency for the Customer and for Customer Service.
When you enter the PO or Order Number, you will now be required to select which order line(s) you want to expedite. If you click on the box at the top of the list (marked in screen shot below with a green arrow and green box) then all the lines on the order will be selected to be expedited. You can select one, some or all lines to be expedited.
For each orderline, the current estimated ship date and plant name are provided so that you can decide the date you want to enter as the "requested expedite ship date". The date you enter must be at least 2 days from today to allow for Allegion to process the expedite AND must be at least one day before the current estimated ship date. When you click on the calendar icon (in green below), you will only be able to select valid dates.
The current ship-to address is now displayed on the form for your reference. US customers may change the shipping address for the expedited order. Since Canadian accounts have pre-approved ship-to addresses, Canadian users can not automatically change the address but they could answer the question "Is there anything else we should know about this request?"
- Attach files or photos
Users can now upload files and photos during case creation.
Files or photos can be uploaded if they meet the following conditions:
- Formats supported are JPG, PNG, GIF or PDF
- Files size must be within 3MB
- 5 files can be uploaded against a case
'Primary Product Type' input field is no longer required and is not part of the case form.
