Accessing the Portal
1. Logging In:
- Begin by logging into your 360 Portal. The interface is consistent across different environments, so these instructions apply universally.
Managing Your Home Page (Previously Known as Launchpad)
Adding and Removing Apps
1. Remove an App:
- Navigate to the App and Widget Store.
- Click on "Remove from Home Page" for the app you want to remove. For example, if you remove "Notifications Preferences," it will disappear from your home page.
2. Re-add an App:
- To re-add an app, click "Add to Home Page" in the App and Widget Store. This action will restore the app to your home page.
Customizing Your Layout
1. Using the Gear Icon:
- Locate the gear icon in the bottom right corner of your screen. This is your tool for customizing the layout.
- Click the gear icon to access the drag-and-drop interface.
2. Rearranging Apps:
- Drag and drop your most-used apps to prioritize them. For example, if you frequently use the "PO Tracker," drag it to the top of your list.
3. Removing Apps:
- To remove an app, click the "X" next to it in the customization interface.
Finalizing Changes
1. Save Your Layout:
- After rearranging your apps, ensure you click the "X" in the bottom corner to save and exit the customization mode.
Additional Tips
- Widgets:
- Currently, there are two widgets available, with announcements being the primary one for most users.
- Widgets are enabled by default.
- Interface Navigation:
- Remember to click "Home Page" to return to your starting point after making changes.
